A New Chapter

Before joining Ricky Birria de Res, Telma García spent years working in housekeeping. Three months ago, she began a new chapter, helping serve customers at the popular birria truck on weekends.

While she is one of the newer members of the team, Telma has quickly become part of an operation that serves customers every Saturday and Sunday.

The truck's most popular item is its tacos, which draw customers from across the community. Behind every order is a team working together to keep the business running, and Telma is now part of that effort.

Like many people working in street vending, Telma's path into the industry was shaped by opportunity and necessity. The work is different from her previous career, but it offers a chance to connect with customers and be part of a growing business.

Though her time with Ricky Birria de Res has been relatively short, her story reflects something common among many vendors and workers: the willingness to adapt, learn new skills, and embrace new opportunities when they arise.

After years working in housekeeping, Telma found a new opportunity serving customers at Ricky Birria de Res.
